Common Myths and the Truth about Internet Marketing

I’m am so sick of all the total bs being promoted online and while I’m at it lets even include the things being promoted offline.  Affilate programs, mlm and how about corporate advertising?  Really we live in a world of marketing, every product or service out there is literally being stuffed down your throat.  Studies show that it takes somewhere between 8-15 exposures to the advertising before someone will buy the product, if they ever do.  Now what bothers me about this, how many times is it that the advertising is misleading?  Maybe the promotion even has really nothing to do with the item being presented.  Maybe you just didn’t see that fine print so carefully hidden that most people can only barely notice it once it has been pointed out to them.

What are the real intentions of these people?

Do I even need go there?

Hell, now that I think of it, what bothers me even more is that people are so used to the corporate advertising, they don’t mind when the fast food place pitches to them.  We don’t mind when some company promotes to us, even if their product is total garbage.  We just shrug it off, say yeah I’ve ate there, it’s alright in a pinch.  Or, yeah I’ve used that service, it wasn’t the greatest but who wants to even bother switching phone companies?  It’s too much work and besides everyone uses that company so I should too.

But then when someone you have never heard of, or even worse someone you already know, suddenly starts selling something…well Good God Almighty lookout it’s on!  How Dare we try to better ourselves in some way?  You could have the Best Damned Product and Business Plan in the Entire Universe…it wouldn’t matter!  You could have a method to save people big time on their energy bills…but because they haven’t seen your ad in front of them on the friggin television over and over again, you must be a total scammer.

Now lets turn the attention online here for a minute.

This is where it seems to get even worse!  The gurus and all their so-called tricks and tactics.  Well trickery is the work of the devil and the tactics are designed to keep people guessing and buying their useless products, period.

Yeah, they want YOUR MONEY!  Who would of thunk it?

All the while, the simple truth has been right there in front of you, in front of us all.

Get rich quick does not exist for most of us.

Even if it did you’d most likely have to scam and rip people off to acheive it.

You’d have to sacrifice your values, your integrity and your most valuable reputation.  By the way, a lot of companies and affilate programs are asking you to do just this by even getting involved with them!

And all along there has been countless ways to get ahead or succeed online or off.

All you need
